Who operates GetSprite
GetSprite is operated by an independent developer. This policy describes the current, pre-commercial version of the service; it is not a promise about features that are not yet available.
Information used to generate a sprite
When you generate a sprite, we process the text prompt and the generation options you submit. They are sent to the AI image provider selected in the service configuration to produce a result. The current production configuration uses Pollinations. We will update this policy before switching to another provider, including the Gemini integration available in our code. Providers may process information outside your country; their handling is governed by their own terms and privacy notices. We do not make a separate promise that a provider will not use prompts for training.
Local uploads and browser storage
The animator's current upload control reads a selected image in your browser only so that you can preview it. The image is not uploaded to our server or sent to an AI provider by that control. We also store your light or dark theme preference in your browser's local storage. You can clear that preference in your browser settings.
Google sign-in
If you choose to sign in with Google, Google provides the basic profile information needed to identify your session, such as your name, email address, and profile image. GetSprite uses it only to provide sign-in and does not create a separate user-profile database. Your signed-in state is kept in an encrypted session cookie; see our Cookie Notice for details.
Operational logs and hosting
GetSprite is hosted on Cloudflare. Cloudflare and our application may process operational information such as IP address, browser and request metadata, timestamps, requested routes, status codes, and limited generation diagnostics. We use these logs only to operate, secure, and debug the service; they are not used for advertising or sold. Cloudflare-managed logs are retained according to the logging settings available to us. The current MVP does not store operational logs in its D1 database or R2 bucket.
What the current MVP does not provide
Google sign-in is available, but the current service does not offer credits, payments, purchase history, generation history, or server-side storage of uploaded files. It does not provide an account dashboard or self-service deletion feature. To ask about your sign-in data, contact us using the address below.
Cookies and analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand aggregate use of GetSprite and improve the service. Google Analytics may process device and usage information and use cookies as described in Google's policies. We do not use analytics to create advertising profiles. See our Cookie Noticefor browser-storage details.
